Welcome to RentOps ("RentOps", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RentOps website, application, and related services.

By creating an account or using RentOps, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use RentOps.

1. About RentOps

RentOps is a property and PG management platform that helps property operators manage:

• Properties and rooms
• Beds and occupancy
• Tenant information
• Rent and payment records
• Invoices
• Outstanding dues
• Other property-management activities

RentOps provides software tools to help users manage their operations. RentOps does not act as a property owner, landlord, tenant, broker, real-estate agent, or financial institution.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use RentOps.

By using RentOps, you confirm that:

• The information you provide is accurate and current.
• You will use the service only for lawful purposes.
• You will comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3. Account Registration

Some RentOps features require you to create an account.

You may register using email/password or supported authentication methods such as Google Sign-In.

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information.
• Maintaining the security of your account.
• Keeping your login credentials confidential.
• All activity performed through your account.

If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, you should contact us promptly.

4. Google Sign-In

RentOps may allow you to sign in using your Google account.

When you use Google Sign-In, authentication is handled through Google's authentication services and our authentication infrastructure.

Your use of Google Sign-In is also subject to Google's applicable terms and policies.

RentOps does not receive or store your Google password.

5. User-Provided Information

You may enter information about properties, rooms, tenants, payments, rent, invoices, and other operational information into RentOps.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights, permissions, and lawful basis to collect, store, and process information that you enter into the platform.

You must not use RentOps to unlawfully collect, store, disclose, or process another person's personal information.

6. Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information entered into RentOps.

RentOps may provide calculations, summaries, reminders, reports, or other tools based on information entered by you.

You should verify important financial, tenant, rental, and operational information before relying on it.

RentOps is not responsible for losses resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or incorrectly entered information.

7. Payments and Financial Records

RentOps may provide features for recording rent payments, dues, invoices, and other financial information.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, RentOps is a software platform for recording and managing information and does not itself act as a bank, payment processor, lender, or financial institution.

You are responsible for ensuring that payment records and financial information entered into the platform are accurate.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use RentOps for unlawful activities.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service.
• Introduce malicious code, viruses, or harmful software.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to bypass security measures.
• Use RentOps to violate another person's privacy or legal rights.
• Use automated methods to abuse or overload the service.
• Copy, resell, or commercially exploit RentOps without our written permission.
• Use the platform in a way that could damage RentOps or its users.

We may restrict or suspend access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

9. Subscription and Fees

RentOps may offer free and paid plans.

If paid plans or additional services are introduced, applicable pricing, billing terms, renewal terms, and cancellation conditions will be communicated to users before purchase.

We may change pricing or plans from time to time. Changes will generally apply prospectively and will not affect a paid period that has already been purchased unless otherwise stated.

10. Service Availability

We aim to keep RentOps available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be:

• Available without interruption.
• Error-free.
• Free from delays.
• Free from technical problems.

The service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, technical issues, security incidents, third-party services, internet failures, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

11. Data and Backups

We use reasonable measures to protect information stored in RentOps.

However, you are responsible for maintaining appropriate records of important information entered into the platform.

We recommend that you maintain appropriate independent records or backups of critical business information.

12. Intellectual Property

RentOps, including its software, interface, branding, logos, design, text, features, and other original content, is owned by or licensed to RentOps and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Except as expressly permitted, you may not:

• Copy or reproduce RentOps.
• Modify or create derivative works.
• Reverse engineer the software.
• Redistribute or resell the platform.
• Use RentOps branding without permission.

You retain ownership of information and content that you lawfully provide to RentOps.

13. User Content and Data

You retain ownership of information and data that you enter into RentOps.

By using RentOps, you grant us the limited rights necessary to host, process, transmit, display, and otherwise use that information solely to provide and operate the service.

We will handle personal information according to our Privacy Policy.

14. Third-Party Services

RentOps may depend on third-party services such as:

• Google Sign-In
• Cloud hosting and database services
• Authentication providers
• Payment or communication providers, where applicable
• Other infrastructure and technology providers

Third-party services may have their own terms and policies.

RentOps is not responsible for the availability, functionality, or policies of third-party services that are outside our control.

15. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using RentOps at any time.

You may also request deletion of your account and applicable personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

16. Disclaimer

RentOps is provided as a software management tool.

RentOps does not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, real-estate, tenancy, or professional advice.

You are responsible for ensuring that your property-management activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Information, calculations, reports, reminders, or other outputs generated by RentOps should be reviewed before being used for important business, financial, legal, or operational decisions.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RentOps and its owners, employees, partners, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the service.

This may include losses resulting from:

• Data loss.
• Business interruption.
• Loss of revenue or profits.
• Incorrect information entered by users.
• Service interruptions.
• Third-party service failures.
• Unauthorized access resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

18. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless RentOps and its owners, employees, partners, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from:

When we make changes, we will update the Last Updated date at the top of this page.

If significant changes are made, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.

Your continued use of RentOps after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

20. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of India, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Any disputes relating to RentOps or these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts having appropriate jurisdiction in India.
